Through these programs we strive to prepare our students to become contributors to society in all respect. You will learn how to think logically, deal with uncertainty, apply technology in a socially and environmentally responsible manner, communicate effectively and collaborate with others and deliver desired results.

The Diploma of Engineering Studies aims to provide students with the ability to communicate effectively in English; a sound knowledge of basic engineering, scientific, computing and mathematical techniques; a knowledge of, and ability to apply, basic problem solving techniques; and basic knowledge and skills in one of the following fields: civil engineering; computer systems engineering; electrical and electronic engineering; environmental engineering; geographic information systems; mechanical engineering; mechatronics engineering or surveying and many more engineering/vocational/technical subjects. With this aim Universal College of Engineering and Research (UCOER) has commenced two Diploma programmes in Mechanical Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Civil Engineering from academic year 2012-13.

Diploma in Engineering is highly recognized in India as the students come with Strong hands-on practical & Engineering experience. Professionals holding Diploma in engineering usually start their career as Junior Engineers.

Diploma Holders are eligible for Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (A.M.I.E), which is equivalent to the BE Degree.

Diploma holders are also eligible for lateral entry to the Second year Degree Engineering Courses in various Technical Universities
